More than 100 kilometres of snowmobile trails dotted the hillsides of northern NSW, and it was a perfect opportunity to try something different.
The treetopped adventures cantons cantons of Treetops Snowmobile Race is the first snowmobile competition in the world to be run entirely on the trails.
“This event has grown out of a passion for adventure for me and my family, but it has also had a lot of other positive things happen for us, too,” snowmobile racing author Derek Anderson said.
“There are so many new experiences that have come out of this event that have been incredibly rewarding for us and for all of us involved.”
It has also been a great opportunity for me to explore and create new ideas in snowmobiles, and hopefully inspire other riders to get out there and do their thing.”
The snowmobile event has attracted over 50,000 participants, and they have taken the challenge to the next level by putting on a range of challenging mountain bike races, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and mountain biking.”
